South Community - Youth Positive Health Day Treatment Program

South Community specializes in behavioral and emotional problems/functioning for ages 6 to 17. They offer counseling for individuals, family and group, community psychiatric support services, social skills training, psychiatric services, activities, and expressive therapy. South Community accepts Anthem Medicaid, Buckeye, CareSource, Molina, Humana Healthy Horizons, AmeriHealth Caritas, UHC Community, UHC, Anthem/BCBS, Medicare, Aetna (Ohio Rise) and a sliding fee scale for eligible Montgomery County residents based on family size and income.

South Community Behavioral Healthcare

***2/7/24: Doing walk-in appointments 8am-2pm, Monday-Friday. After the intake appointment currently scheduling approximately 4 weeks for out counseling for school aged youth. Currently scheduling approximately 2 weeks out for psychiatry after the initial intake. Foster care program will be closing in April of this year.***

South Community specializes in school/education issues, trauma/PTSD, self-esteem issues, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, motivation issues, loneliness, hyperactivity, social issues, behavioral issues, family issues, and divorce for ages 6 and up. Families will need to bring proof of residence, insurance, ID card(s), and any custody paperwork. They accept Anthem Medicaid, Buckeye, CareSource, Molina, Humana Healthy Horizons, AmeriHeath Caritas, UHC Community, UHC, Anthem/BCBS, Medicare, and Aetna (Ohio Rise).

Spader Psychological Services, LLC - specializes in evaluations and testing for ADHD and/or learning disabilities (they DO NOT offer autism evaluations) for ages 5 to 64. 

Insurance: Aetna, Anthem (Blue connection HMO only), Cigna, ComPsych, Devoted Health, First Health/Cofinity/ First Choice, Humana, MedBen, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Ohio Health Choice/Ohio PPO Connect/NWOHP, OhioHealthy/Optima/Health Reach preferred

Payments: $35 per 15 minutes (billed to you as insurance will not cover/pay), the cost of testing is $180 per hour
