Pediatric psychiatrists at Dayton Children’s Hospital provide care for patients age 4-16 who have:

• Complex mental health needs, with only limited improvement after taking multiple medications
• Severe autism and/or developmental delays
• Medical conditions in addition to mental health concerns

Our psychiatrists are compassionate, and they understand the challenges that parents face when dealing with a child’s mental health issues. They can help you know what to expect and how to find additional help, if needed. Dayton Children’s does not provide psychiatric hospitalization, partial hospitalization, crisis management or home-based services for children with mental health needs, but can help you identify other resources.
