get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

rather than just treating illnesses, developmental and behavioral pediatrics looks at the whole: the child, their parents and caregivers and their environment (home/school). By doing so, I am able to treat the whole person - mind, body and spirit - and hopefully change a child’s life for the better.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

as a former active duty pediatrician, I greatly appreciate the openness of the Dayton community for our military population. As a result, I wanted to return here after completing my military career to invest in the care of the children of the Greater Dayton Area. Dayton Children’s offers a fantastic team to work with in achieving that goal.

Dayton Children's is special because...

is an amazing gift to our community. As a city of this size, it is unusual to have a freestanding, dedicated children’s hospital and Dayton Children’s excels in meeting children’s healthcare needs. Our vision is not restricted by the relative size of our city, rather we seek to be a leader in providing excellent care for children and families as we work alongside our community partners.
