Objectives:

  1. Cite three medical uses of contraceptive medications for adolescents.
  2. Describe the value newer progestin-only pills may have for adolescent patients.
  3. Apply the US Medical Eligibility Criteria to identify common estrogen-contraindications in adolescent patients.
  4. Identify reproductive health resources for providers, patients and families.
