Alicia Bowers, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner in child and adolescent psychiatry at Dayton Children's Hospital. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Alicia worked as a nurse in the inpatient behavioral health unit.

To Alicia, psychiatry offers a unique opportunity to connect with patients on a personal level, provide support in difficult times and contribute to their journey towards healing and well-being. She is also passionate about breaking down stigmas and promoting mental health awareness in our communities.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to travel and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, snow skiing and wakeboarding.
