what volunteers do

Volunteers at Dayton Children's assist in many different departments in the hospital. Volunteer tasks can vary from helping with child life craft time, greeting patient families or assisting with data entry. While we do our best to place volunteers with a position that they desire we cannot always guarantee first choice. The volunteer services department works hard to match each volunteer to the most appropriate volunteer service based upon their skills and current needs and availability.
