Megan Ezzo, FNP-C is a nurse practitioner in the division of gastroenterology and nutrition at Dayton Children's Hospital. With a background in pediatric primary care and general urgent care, Megan brings a wealth of experience in treating a variety of conditions in children. Her special interests include swallowing disorders and eosinophilic esophagisits, where she is eager to provide comprehensive and continuous care.
Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Kent State University and wnt on to complete her Master of Science in nursing and nurse practitioner program at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Throughout her career, Megan has been recognized for her dedication to patient care, notably receiving the Daisy Award in March 2016. She values the opportunity to develop deep connections with her patients and their families, guiding them through their healthcare journey with empathy and expertise.
Having grown up in Ohio, Megan is excited to serve the Greater Dayton region. She chose to work at Dayton Children's because of the hospital's deep-rooted commitment to community involvement and its mission to improve the lives of children of all ages.
When she's not working, Megan loves spending time with her son, husband and their corgi, Sir Gabriel. As a family, they enjoy going on cruises and attending professional wrestling events. Unfortunately, Sir Gabriel has to stay home during these activities.
