get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

it allows me to practice medicine in a very rewarding way – shades of grey, critical thinking, trusting your coworker, evidence based protocols yet room for instincts, attention to detail, the optimal use of advanced technology, the value of compassion, the patience to persevere and the appreciation from the families.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

It has a culture of hiring and retaining good people and providing great care for the children. Even some less appreciated staff give their best here.

Dayton Children's is special because...

of the camaraderie of teamwork here. DCH wins national accolades yet it lives in a little niche so odd and small that it would only get noticed if it weren’t there one day.
