Elizabeth Bacon, DO

bio

Elizabeth Bacon, DO is a pediatric pulmonologist and associate medical director of the cystic fibrosis program at Dayton Children's Hospital. Dr. Bacon was born and raised in central Illinois. She graduated college from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She then completed her medical school education at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. Following college, she spent her internship and residency at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. After her fellowship, Dr. Bacon became a pediatric pulmonologist at Dayton Children's. Dr. Bacon is board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology. When asked why she chose to specialize in pediatric pulmonology she said it was because she enjoys interacting with patients with cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary disorders. One of her favorite things about working with children is getting to watch them change over the years and being able to help them and their families when needed.
