Amanda Gutwein, DO, MPH is a pediatric pulmonologist at Dayton Children's Hospital. Dr. Gutwein was born and raised in the greater Dayton region and looks forward to giving back to her hometown.
Dr. Gutwein completed medical school at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. She then obtained her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Her postgraduate training included a pediatric residency at East Tennessee State University and a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at UPMC Children's Hospital in Pennsylvania.

She listened and seemed interested in helping my child. I feel like we didn't get a definitive diagnosis. No real answers for my child's symptoms. She told us to keep doing what we're doing and we have a close follow up. I appreciate the close follow up. But I'm frustrated that we don't have a diagnosis or know what is 100% going on.

Was very nice and saw us and hardly any wait time. Was hard to gauge tone at times but I'm sensitive haha

The doctors, nurses, and everybody we encountered there were fantastic, made sure to tell us where we were going, what we were doing. They even made it easy enough to get the prescription there at Children's so I didn't have to make an extra stop. The doctor was awesome. She listened to all of my concerns and what I had been telling the doctors and why we got the referral there. And we are on a good path, hopefully, to helping my son with his bleeding issues.

The wait time was horrible.
