Poppy's Therapeutic Corner, LLC

Poppy’s Therapeutic Corner, LLC, is a private group practice located in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, providing counseling (telehealth and in-office) for children ages 3 and older.  

Poppy’s Therapeutic Corner, LLC, also offers psychiatry for children ages 5 and older. The psychiatrist is located in their Cincinnati office, but Kettering office patients can utilize these services via telehealth appointments. The patient does not need to receive counseling with this provider, in order to receive psychiatry services.

Poppy’s currently accepts Medicaid HMOs (including UHC Community). Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis. For more information, please visit their website.

Oak Tree Corner: Support Center for Grieving Children

Oak Tree Corner specializes in grief and loss for ages 3 to 18. They offer support groups (led by trained volunteers; offers an optional group for caregivers). An adult is responsible for the child/teen must remain on the premises, inside the building during all meetings. A free meal is offered at the beginning of the group, and groups may include games, memory projects, puppets, music, baking, drama, crafts, and sharing stories. There are also locations in Greene and Warren counties. Services are FREE, donations are accepted.

Poppy's Therapeutic Center - ***9/26/2023 Currently Full; only one therapist for children*** They offer counseling for ages 4+ and Psychiatry for ages 5+.

They accept Medicaid HMO's, Anthem Medicaid, Caresource, Molina, Paramount, Aetna Better Health, Optum (UHC Medicaid0, Buckeye, United Healthcare, Ambetter, Humana, Aetna, and Ohio Rise. They are waiting to get paneled on Humana Medicaid.

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) - Dayton Location

National Youth Advocate Program provides child and adult counseling, sexual reactive and sexually abusive behavior treatment for children ages 6-12, and sex offending treatment for ages 12-18. Their specialties include PTSD, anxiety, depression related to past trauma, and therapists that are trained in trauma focused CBT.
