Pathways of Hope - Ohio Hospice of Dayton - Hospice of Dayton offers individual counseling to help children (ages 6 and older) with their grief and can provide emergency and group counseling for schools and organizations following a loss. They offer individual counseling and family counseling both before and after the passing of the ill patient. Their services are free to the family and families do not need to be receiving hospice services to get counseling there. Pathways of Hope programs helping children include: Individual and Family Counseling, Healing Pathways School Based Services, and Camp Pathways for ages 7-17 (can do 1x coaching for parents for children under 7). In partnership with area schools, Pathways of Hope supports grieving children through school-based grief support groups. This effort provides information, guidance and age-appropriate resources for support. They also offer a special summer group-counseling program for children ages 7—17.
