Erica Lucas is a nurse practitioner in the urology department at Dayton Children's Hospital. Erica's experience with Dayton Children's expands beyond the care she provides as a nurse practitioner. She has been a student, a nurse, a parent and a family member. And in every interaction, she has witnessed the above and beyond compassion and care provided.

Erica's role at Dayton Children's includes treating and diagnosing patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections and dysfunctional voiding. She received her registered nursing degree from Kettering College of Medical Arts and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from Wright State University. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Wright State University.

Erica's favorite thing about working with kids is how they see the world in a different light. They have amazing imaginations, creativity and resiliency.

Outside of work Erica enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also participates in martial arts.
