Dr. Donald Nguyen is a pediatric urologist at Dayton Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of surgery and pediatrics at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He has a special interest in hypospadias, abnormal development of the genitals, and kidney and bladder abnormalities.
He completed his medical education at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Wisconsin. He completed his residency in pediatric urology at the University of Minnesota, where he stayed for another year as chief resident. Following residency, Dr. Nguyen completed his clinical pediatric urology fellowship at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
One of his favorite things about working with children is telling jokes and making children laugh.
Outside of work Dr. Nguyen enjoys tennis, bird watching and photography. He also participates in advocating for children's health and access to care!

I loved my visit. After having a horrible recent experience at Cincinnati children's I was anxious to see another doctor. Dayton was definitely worth the drive and I know my son is in good hands for his upcoming surgery.

I liked that things were explained and we felt very easy during the visit. All of our concerns were handled and didn't make us feeler overwhelmed. We're first time parents and all of concerns were addressed and no questions was a "dumb" question.

Dr. Nguyen is very considerate and patient. He listens very well to your issues. He is quick to come up with a solution. Very, very helpful. I would see him again any time.
