Courtney McIntosh is a certified nurse practitioner at Dayton Children's Hospital in the division of gastroenterology and nutrition. She graduated from Cedarville University in 2017 with a bachelor of science in nursing. In the years following, Courtney worked as a nurse in level III and IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the surrounding region. She also worked in Dayton Children's emergency department - Level I Trauma Center while completing a master of science in nursing. In 2022, Courtney joined the division of gastroenterology at Dayton Children's.

Courtney is passionate about empowering kids and families to live their best lives. She specifically loves working with kids because they are funny, honest, innocent, surprising and full of life.

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her three dogs, one cat and 100 house plants!

We have always had a great experience with Dayton Children's Hospital. Courtney McIntosh, NP and Samantha, the nurse were both amazing.

She is excellent! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and kind.

She told me my son's spleen was enlarged because he's on the "bigger end" for his age group. And then backtracked and said she doesn't know anything about the spleen.
