safety alert for ResMed CPAP and PAP masks

Dayton Children’s Hospital is committed to the safety of our patients, and we want to ensure that you are made aware of anything that affects the care and safety of your child.

We have been made aware of a recent safety alert from ResMed on masks for BiPAP and CPAP machines. ResMed has updated their contraindications and warnings in their user guides for masks containing magnets. These magnets may affect certain medical devices. We are sending you this information is case you haven’t been made aware.
