Dayton Children’s welcomes new pediatric endocrinologist
Stacy Meyer, MD, has recently joined the pediatric endocrinology department at The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton. She most recently completed a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital
Dr. Meyer joins Dayton Children’s after completing an endocrinology fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She received her medical degree from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Meyer is board certified in pediatrics.
A comprehensive range of services is available in the fields of pediatric endocrinology and diabetes mellitus at Dayton Children's. The department of endocrinology provides state-of-the-art treatment options, education and support groups for infants, children and teens. The diabetic clinic provides a multidisciplinary approach to care with services provided by the endocrinologist, diabetic nurse educator, nutritionist and social worker, each of whom are specially trained to care children with diabetes. With the addition of Dr. Meyer, the endocrinology department now has five highly trained pediatric endocrinologists.
