Dayton Children's expands the allergy and immunology division with two specialists and two locations
With the number and severity of allergies growing, Dayton Children’s adds David Morris, MD, medical director, and Harpinder Kalra, MD, to the allergy and immunology division. Both specialists see patients at both the main campus and the south campus. Services include:
- Food allergy evaluation and testing
- Allergic rhinitis evaluation and testing and immunotherapy
- Medication allergy testing and evaluation
- Food and medication challenges
- Immune deficiency evaluation and treatment
No pre-referral work-up is needed, however if diagnostic testing has already been done, please have the patient/family bring these to the appointment.
Dr. Morris offers expertise in pediatric allergy and immunology with special interests in primary immune deficiency as well as urticaria. He completed his fellowship at University of Cincinnati in 2015 before joining our staff at Dayton Children’s. Dr. Morris received his medical degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency with us.
Dr. Kalra has 13 years of experience treating pediatric allergy and immunology disorders. She has special interests in food allergy. Like Dr. Morris, Dr. Kalra also completed her fellowship at University of Cincinnati and worked at Cincinnati Children’s from 2005 to 2016.
