Kids Express is a one-of-a-kind pediatric-focused health care option.

When you can't get into your pediatrician's office, Kids Express provides quick care for minor conditions. 

It combines the convenience of a retail clinic approach and online scheduling with the pediatric expertise of a specially trained nurse practitioner.

While there are a lot of retail clinics for adults, this is the only one in Ohio with care that is just right for kids and focused on their unique needs.

Our board-certified pediatric nurse practitioners provide high quality, affordable health care with both in-person and video visits.

Kids Express is not an urgent care or an emergency department. Parents should choose those other options if their child is having trouble breathing, bleeding profusely, needs stitches, imaging or care above what a pediatrician could take care of during an office visit. You can utilize our symptom checker to help you determine where to take your child for care.

When you can't get into your pediatrician's office, Kids Express will see patients for common conditions such as: 

  • Colds and coughs
  • COVID-19 concerns
  • Ear infections
  • Pink eye
  • Rashes
  • Mild fever
  • Flu
  • Flu shot
  • Sore/strep throat
  • Lice
  • Sinus infection
  • And more!

  • Before coming to Kids Express we recommend contacting your child's pediatrician. If you cannot get in to see them then we are here to help!
  • Consider scheduling a video visit for certain conditions. If a video visit isn't right for your child, save your spot for an in-person visit. 
  • Saving your spot online makes sure your visit is at a certain time for you and reduces the amount of time spent in the waiting room.
  • Walk-ins are also welcome, however scheduled patients will be seen first so we encourage you to check in before you arrive.
  • Please note that your time choice is only a reservation. Some patients may still have to wait upon arrival. The reservation time given is your anticipated time to a treatment room and does not indicate when you will be seen by a provider; this is defined as the time you check in at the front desk until you are greeted by a staff member.

Kids Express video visits

 

Kids Express also offers video visits for certain conditions such as: 

  • Allergies
  • COVID concerns
  • Pink eye
  • Rashes
  • Sore throat
  • Vomiting and diarrhea 

Talk to one of our pediatric nurse practitioners from the comfort of your home. If your child needs a prescription we can send it to your pharmacy of choice. Please note that patients must be in the state of Ohio during the video visit.

cost and payment

Kids Express will be billed through your insurance as a doctor's office visit. If you do not have insurance, you will be sent a bill following your appointment.

Self-pay is available for sports physicals and flu shots.  

If you have insurance:

Please provide your insurance card and we will collect any copay due at the time of service. Then, we will bill your insurance company. You may get an additional bill from us after your insurance processes the claim, as you may potentially owe an additional amount.

If you are uninsured:

You will be sent a bill following your appointment.

All payments must be made using credit/debit card or check. If you have insurance, but don’t have your current card, you will need to pay the retail list price in full. No cash is accepted. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
