Dayton Children's offers the only outpatient multidisciplinary pediatric chronic pain management clinic in the area. Within one appointment you will be seen by psychology, physical therapy, anesthesiology and other specialties. Our pediatric chronic pain managment clinic treats patients with a multidisciplinary approach focusing on non-opiod medications, psychology and physical therapy support as well as offering a variety of holistic medical options. Patients will undergo a 10 week program, meeting with the pain management team. We help patients develop strong coping skills for pain management, which can include everything from psychology to massage to relaxation techniques. We will provide chronic pain interventional procedures for appropriate patients.
