The Troy outpatient care center is 10,800 square feet with 12 patient visit rooms, an orthopaedic rehab gym, a developmental physical therapy gym, a lab and an imaging area. As a former educational space, it was remodeled by Bruns General Contracting at a cost of $3.5 million. A handful of new employees were added to supplement existing staff to serve this location. It will also be as a training site for phlebotomy students at Edison State Community College, which shares the building.
This is the second expansion north of Dayton in the past year. Dayton Children’s opened an urgent care in Huber Heights in December 2018.
“We know convenience is incredibly important to our families, so we continue to look at ways to help them get quality, pediatric care from our expert specialists in the easiest way possible,” says Deborah A. Feldman, president and CEO of Dayton Children’s.
This is the seventh outpatient care center for Dayton Children’s in the region, adding to locations in Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Kettering, Middletown, Springboro, Springfield and Vandalia.
