bio
Irma Reyes, DO is a pediatric neurologist at Dayton Children's Hospital. She is also an assistant professor of child neurology at Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University. Dr. Reyes was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated college from the University of Illinois Chicago. She then completed her pediatric residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. After completing her residency in child neurology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in California, Dr. Reyes joined the pediatric neurology practice at Dayton Children's. Dr. Reyes is board certified in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology.
When asked why she chose to specialize in neurology she responded, "neurology involves a plethora of interesting pathology, and it is a field that continues to grow with advanced research and technology". During her time at Dayton Children's, Dr. Reyes has developed a special interest in treating patients with neuromuscular disorders. Alongside her peers in cardiology and pulmonary medicine, Dr. Reyes developed a multidisciplinary neuromuscular clinic to provide patients with a team of specialists with expertise in chronic conditions affecting the muscles and nerves. One of her favorite things about working with children is how resilient and fun they are! Outside of the hospital, Dr. Reyes enjoys dancing, working out, watching movies, trying new restaurants, traveling, and of course, spending time with her husband and close family and friends.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. I feel like I am now getting help for my daughter's issues
We love seeing Dr. Irma Reyes. She's friendly, professional, thorough, and never makes us feel silly for asking questions to be sure we understand. Would highly recommend Dr. Reyes anytime.
She did a great job breaking down tough information to hear as a parent. As she walked me through our diagnosis she wrote everything down to send home with me that day! It was so helpful and above and beyond!
