Dayton Children’s wireless resources may be used by non-employees for legal and ethical purposes. Examples of unacceptable purposes include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Electronic Harassment
· Destruction, damage or unauthorized access to equipment, software, or data belonging to Dayton Children’s, other organizations, or other users
· Unauthorized copying of copyright-protected material
· The transmission or reception of obscene materials, or the publicly visible display of pictures featuring bodily exposure, sexual acts, and violence.

Confidentiality
Dayton Children’s reserves the right to monitor all electronic data transmitted on the wireless network and to share any of the collected information with law enforcement agencies at its sole discretion.

Sanctions
Illegal and un-ethical use of computing resources is forbidden and will be dealt with in a serious and appropriate manner including notification of local law enforcement agencies. Illegal acts involving Dayton Children’s computing resources are forbidden and may also be subject to prosecution by local, state, and federal law.

Disclaimer
Dayton Children’s utilizes internet filtering software that attempts to block pornography and other material that is inappropriate. However, Dayton Children’s cannot make any guarantees that persons utilizing wireless resources will not be able to access such materials.

Since the Internet is a global electronic network, there is no control of its users or content. The Internet and its available resources may contain material of a controversial nature. Dayton Children’s makes attempts to censor access to material and information that may be offensive, but cannot make a guarantee.

Parents of minors or children must accept responsibility for their children’s use of the Internet through Dayton Children’s networks. Dayton Children’s staff cannot control the availability of information links, which may change rapidly and unpredictably. Nor does Dayton Children’s endorse that all sources on the Internet arrived accurate, complete, or current. Users need to use judgment in questioning the validity of information found on the Internet.

Dayton Children’s assumes no responsibility for any damages, direct or indirect, arising from use of any of its wireless network equipment. If you chose to access the internet via Dayton Children’s wireless connection you are doing so at your own risk.

• It is the customer's sole responsibility to protect his/her information from all risks associated with using the Internet, including any damage, loss, or theft that may occur as a result of use of Dayton Children’s wireless access.

• Information passing through Dayton Children’s wireless access is not secured and could be monitored, captured, or altered by others.

• Dayton Children’s staff is not able to provide technical assistance and assumes no responsibility for system configurations, security or changes to data files resulting from connection to the network.

• Dayton Children’s assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment; users must keep their equipment with them at all times.
