Shelby is a dietitian providing a broad spectrum of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Dayton Children's Hospital. In the outpatient nutrition clinic, Shelby addresses concerns such as weight management, poor weight gain, malnutrition, picky eating, diabetes, food allergies, inborn errors of metabolism, vegan or vegetarian diets and general healthy eating. In the inpatient setting, she focuses on providing specialized nutrition support for critically ill patients to aid in their recovery and healing. 

Shelby became a dietitian to play a vital role in preventing disease through proper nutrition while also providing specialized care to support children during times of illness or critical health challenges.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys running, lifting weights, hiking, singing, playing guitar, violin and piano, cooking vegan/vegetarian dishes and yummy desserts, reading, and traveling with her husband, Ryan and their cat, Annie.
