why did Dayton Children's Hospital and community providers create a clinically integrated network?
Dayton Children's and its community-based colleagues partnered to leverage resources to better support our region's independent pediatric providers. As a result, Dayton Children's Health Partners was established.
We work together to measure and track improvements in quality and efficiency, positioning us to improve the care delivered to our patients and to enter into additional collaborative relationships with payers.
In order to best serve our patients in the changing environment of health care, Dayton Children's Hospital and community providers developed Dayton Children's Health Partners, a physician-led clinically integrated network (CIN).

Dayton Children's Health Partners is the region's only pediatric-specific collaborative focusing on quality and value across the care continuum.

To achieve our mission and vision, practices collectively leverage care-coordination dollars to identify opportunities and manage high and rising risk patients.
Dayton Children's Health Partners is developing and implementing evidence-based quality programs to improve outcomes, increase efficiency and reduce costs in pediatric care.
the value of membership
- Develop co-managed programs between membership and pediatric specialists to standardize care for specific conditions across the continuum of care
- Implement quality improvement initiatives across payers, such as reducing potentially avoidable ED visits
- Provide access to education and training support for QI and population health skills for providers, clinical staff and office leadership
- Aggregate and leverage big data for analysis, risk stratification and reporting
- Work collaboratively to tackle mental health needs in pediatric primary care
- Partner with payers to understand and implement value-based reimbursement
- Participate in regional population health initiatives such as the Asthma Alliance and Mental Health Advisory Alliance
- Support provider license renewal such as Maintenance of Certification (MOC), Part 4
