Jason Rodriguez, DO is an anesthesiologist at Dayton Children's. Dr. Rodriguez enjoys working with kids because of their resiliency and positivity. He also has a special interest in helping train the future of health care by teaching residents and medical students. 

As a pediatric anesthesiologist, he works with patients and their families before, during, and after surgery or other medical procedures. Dr. Rodriguez tries to make the experience as positive as he can for everyone and add some fun to an otherwise scary experience. 

He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Grandview Medical Center. Dr. Rodriguez recently completed his pediatric anesthesiology at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

I chose my specialty because...

I love the variety of cases we get to do in the operating room. We get to work with every body system, every age group and do lots of procedures that ultimately contribute to great outcomes for our patients.

I like working with kids because...

of their resiliency and positivity. Kids never fail to amaze me with their enthusiasm, and they are so much fun to work with!

a fun fact about me

I have two amazing kids and rescued labrador retrievers. We love being outdoors, whether we are camping, kayaking or taking in the sights in our great local parks.
