Objectives:
- Cite the ongoing unique nutritional needs of preterm infants following discharge to home from the NICU/SCN.
- Describe best practices for assessing growth and nutritional intake of former preterm infants.
- Recognize the need for routine vitamin and mineral supplementation for preterm infants discharged from the NICU.
- Identify common feeding challenges of preterm infants and ways to support families as they transition to caring for their infant (s) at home.
