Objectives:
- Review pelvic floor muscle anatomy, functions, and dysfunctions.
- Discuss the definition, pathophysiology, and criteria for diagnosis of functional constipation in children.
- Explain the relationship between pelvic floor dysfunction and functional constipation in kids.
- Recognize pelvic floor physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques used to treat children with functional constipation.
