PriMED Physicians group, announce an exclusive agreement that integrates PriMED’s pediatric services into Dayton Children’s

partnering in primary care for kids

Dayton Children’s Hospital and the largest provider of pediatric primary care in the region, PriMED Physicians group, announce an exclusive agreement that integrates PriMED’s pediatric services into Dayton Children’s.

The aim of this affiliation is to strengthen the support and care of children in the Dayton region. It will improve the continuity of care for children through sharing technology and digital resources, such as electronic medical records. It also allows the pediatricians to remain part of PriMED as an independent medical group.

“We are committed to exceptional care and continually work to deliver it in a coordinated way that brings the best value for our families,” says Charlie Hardtke, PriMED CEO.  “This is an exciting opportunity to continue to serve our patients and the community.”

“Together we are stronger for families,” says Deborah Feldman, Dayton Children’s president and CEO. “We know we need to reinvent the path to children’s health for the best outcomes and this is yet another step along that path toward achieving the optimal health for every child within our reach.”

PriMED Pediatrics has 22 pediatricians and 168 staff who provide exceptional primary care to 30,000 children in the Dayton region. Those children will continue to see the doctors and staff they know and love at PriMED Pediatrics in the same way they always have. Noticeable changes will include signs and some paperwork that will now carry both a PriMED and Dayton Children’s logo.

This agreement does not apply to PriMED Family Practice or Neurology.
