Our optical shop is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, no appointment needed. Our licensed optician will make sure your child has the best fit for their vision.
We offer the largest selection of pediatric specialty glasses in the area. We have a selection of frames to accommodate teens, tweens, and adults as well. Over 300 frames in all and even make some glasses within one hour!

All glasses come with a complimentary hard case, cleaner and cloth. And every purchase comes with a one year one time replacement warranty for lens scratches or damage to the eyeglass frame. Often “damage” can be fixed with a screw replacement or adjustment without using the warranty, so bring broken or damaged eyewear in for our optician to evaluate.

If your insurance coverage considers Dayton Children’s out-of-network, we offer a discount.

Yes! Bring in your current eyeglass prescription and we can make your glasses.
The optician will need to inspect the frame to assure that it is suitable. If so, we can use your frame.
Yes, you can buy just the frame. The price is listed on the tag
Many prescriptions can be made while you wait, usually in under one hour! If we have to order the lenses, it typically takes about one week. We do allow more time for prescriptions that require specialty processing, but we will be able to let you know this when you place the order.
Yes! Some of our frames can be customized to accommodate anatomical differences or medical equipment. We work with each patient’s unique needs.
