Dr. Michael S. Bloom earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University Scollege of Medicine and served as ophthalmology resident at Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University. He completed an internship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. In addition, Dr. Bloom recently completed a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at The Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. Dr. Bloom has received numerous academic awards and honors and presented several papers and posters in his field. During his residency and fellowship, he conducted research in Crawford tubes, surgical results on exotropia and preverbal photo vision screening. Dr. Bloom now has additional privileges to remove molluscum lesions on areas of the body other than the eye in conjunction with removeal of lesions on the eye.
