PARKING UPDATE
On May 12 and 13, 2007 the parking lot outside of the laboratory entrance to Dayton Children’s will be seal coated, followed by the painting of stripes.  In order to accomplish this task, the lot will be closed as of the close of business on Friday, May 11.  If you are here to round or work over the weekend, please follow the signs to another parking lot nearby.  Once the lot is finished and the gates are activated, you will need to use your Dayton Children’s identification badge for entry.  If you have any questions, contact security at Dayton Children’s or Brandi Day (security service manager) at 937-641-4283.

RESIDENT GRADUATION ACTIVITIES
The department of pediatrics will be sponsoring the graduation activities for the 2007 Pediatric Residency Class on June 2, 2007.  A number of the professional staff graciously volunteers their time to cover the inpatient services that evening, thereby allowing all of the pediatric and med-peds residents to attend the graduation events.  We thank each of those professional staff members.  It has also been traditional for the professional staff to use this event to express their appreciation for everything our residents do to help your patients throughout the year.  You can show that appreciation by making contributions to the fund that supports the purchase of a graduation gift for each departing resident.  Please make your check out to The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton and send to Cheri Russell, medical education department, The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton, One Children’s Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404.  All monies contributed are used to purchase gifts for the residents.  Questions? Call Ann Burke, MD, at 937-641-3433.
