-- Clinical Information Systems -- The principle trainer is responsible for mastering an Epic application and the departmental specific work flows.  This individual is responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of the clinical information software and serves as a bridge between the hospital end users and the Epic implementation staff. Will be responsible for planning, overseeing and coordinating Epic training for all staff and developing the policies and procedures to govern training.   Develops, builds and maintains the training environment and curriculum. Reviews, analyzes and builds the system in collaboration with Epic, hospital business representatives, subject matter experts and end users. Requirements: Associate degree, 1-2 years relevant experience, clinical skills and knowledge, attend training and obtain Epic certification. Hours: M-F 7:30am-4:30pm, may need to work some weekends and holidays,  call requirements to support Epic. Flexibility in hours is required to meet deadlines and the needs of end users. $

Ensures sample suitability and stability and may include sample collection. Professional application of of the principles, theories, and techniques of Clinical Laboratory Science to produce timely and accurate results as well as evaluate, judge and interpret results. Accepts and processes samples for on-site testing or forwards samples to references laboratories. Maintains and ensures functionality of laboratory equipment and instruments. Ensures quality control and quality assurance aspects of testing are maintained. Ensures laboratory is prepared for unannounced inspections from regulatory agencies. Maintains, monitors, orders and stocks laboratory supplies. Utilizes appropriate restraining techniques when necessary and provides instructions based upon the patient's ability to understand. Trains new employees, students and interns. Able to understand and conduct applicable computer functions. Attends Lab Meetings, regularly. Participates in continuing education. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Requirements: Associate degree medical technology, ASCP, AMT, NCA, HEW(HHS) or certification obtained within 1 year of hire, word processing/clerical skills. Hours: M-F, 2:30pm-11pm, rotating weekends and holidays. Occasionally works 3rd shift on rotating basis to cover days off and vacations. $Salary based on experience.

Assesses each patient and is cognizant of the patient's age, acuity, weight and accessibility of sites when determining the method of collection and the volume of blood required to perform requested tests. Determines tube types and is able to calculate required volumes in all situations including codes and traumas. Performs waived testing. Able to function independently and work as a team. Adheres to all Infection Control Guidelines. Reviews orders for duplication, accuracy and timeliness of all peak drug levels. Understands and utilizes applicable computer functions appropriately. Requirements: HS diploma/GED, 1-2 years relevant experience, CPR certification within 60 days of hire, Phlebotomy certification within 2 years of date of hire.  Hours: As needed to include weekends. $Rates starting at $11.02
