| The Staff Respiratory Therapist I performs medically prescribed general and intermediate respiratory care as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team under the guidance and direction of the Pediatric Coordinator. Professional duties include: Oxygen Therapy, Bland and Medicated Aerosol Therapy, Airway Clearance Techniques, Assisted Ventilation Techniques, Capillary Blood Gas Sampling, Airway Management, CPR, Bedside Pulmonary Function Testing, Breathing Retraining, Home Care Instruction, Asthma Care Instruction and Smoking Counseling. HS Diploma/GED, enrolled in COARC accredited program and limited permit required. Hours: variable 3p-7a, some weekends and holidays. |
